* PVD gold plating - Physical Vapour Deposition - one of the most modern gold plating technologies, a very durable technique - it is used, for example, on Swiss watches. In fact, it is not a gold surface treatment, but the application of titanium nitride in a vacuum, which is colored to the desired shade, in our case to the shade of gold. This technique is used to treat metals such as titanium or stainless steel.

The base metal of our jewelry is stainless steel, which is why the resulting color is a little darker, not completely bright, as with gold-plated brass (a gold filled) or silver.

The durability of PVD gold plating is probably unmatched, it is said to last about 12 years with daily wear. Our personal experience from testing this gold plating after 2 years of wear - the gold plating is still beautiful, despite washing your hair, showering, etc., just slightly lighter. Of course, if you do not expose the jewelry to these activities, it will last even longer.
