PVD - Physical Vapour Deposition - one of the most modern gilding technologies, a very durable technique - it is used, for example, on Swiss watches. In fact, it is not a surface treatment with gold, but the application of titanium nitride in a vacuum, which is colored to the desired shade, in our case to the shade of gold. This technique is used to treat metals such as titanium or stainless steel.

The base metal of our jewelry is stainless steel, which is why the resulting color is a little darker, not completely bright, as with gold-plated brass (a gold filled) or silver.

The lifespan of PVD gold plating is probably unmatched, it is said that it lasts about 12 years with daily wear. Our personal experience with earrings worn for 2 years - they are still beautiful, despite washing your hair, showering, etc., just slightly lighter. Of course, if you do not expose the jewelry to these activities, it will last even longer.
