*gold filled - material indistinguishable from gold to the eye, a type of thick-layer gold plating that is mechanically connected to the base metal (brass), 1/20 of the weight of the metal is pure gold. I do not use a "minimalist" amount of material, I want the jewelry to be visible :-), which is why the resulting price is higher. With proper care, it will last for many years.
