With proper care, it will last for many years. Although it can handle normal wear, sweat, etc., to maintain its durability and shine, I recommend taking it off for swimming and similar activities - you will extend the life of the jewelry.

I recommend removing all jewellery when doing sports, sleeping or other strenuous activities to extend their lifespan. The exception is all-metal jewellery made of steel without stones or pearls.
